How Christians Lost Their Power Position in American Politics

There is nothing so disheartening as a Christian while witnessing and continue experiencing how Christianity is continuously eroding as a lifestyle in the U.S. We accepted taking Bible out of the public schools. We replaced them with guns, drugs and violence. We accepted taking prayer out of the public schools to be replaced with sexual perversions and increase in sexually transmitted diseases among teenagers. We have lost our ability to preach to our children about Jesus. The philosophies of some college professors tend to destroy the seed of Christianity planted in Christian youths that are not well grounded in the Christian faith. We have lost the pulpit to preachers on a relentless quest to make money at the expense of Christ.

Instead of teaching our children about responsibility, we ask them to seek and have fun, and think about paying for it later. We become an extremely hedonistic society without boundaries, or setting limits. The rate of high school dropouts continues to increase, while Christians continue to lose their political voice and power. Instead of the church on an aggressive mission to rescue our children from the street, and save the traditional family, the church is too busy creating mega-star preachers who have lost their sense of direction in preaching the Word of God. The prosperity gospel created by the devil has infected some of the churches as a demonic spirit discouraging some people from going to church. I have no doubt in my heart that as a nation, we have reached a point of no return. The fast moving train straight to hell filled with Christians and non-Christians alike has already left the station. We are a nation on a coalition with disaster. Many Christians are dancing in the church on Sundays oblivious to the problems, while many of our children are dying in the violent streets. However, we cannot give up hope. We can still keep preaching the gospel message of Christ to whoever wants to listen. Perhaps, we can still rescue some from the jaws of Satan.

Christians Have Lost Grounds

This year 2012, American Christians have not only lost their political voice, they have also lost their power position. Suddenly, we become irrelevant! We are as divided as ever! The primary reason for this power demise is because for years, we have been supporting political ideologies contrary to the gospel messages of Christ. We were blindsided by hyped up emotionalized political positions contrary to the teachings of Christ. We will rather appease the political ideology of our club members than to be obedient to the instructions of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Take for example, Jesus instructions for us to feed the poor. Jesus did not ask us to make everything equal. In fact Jesus said, "The poor you will always have with you" (St. Matthew 26:11). But, Jesus never wanted us to be callously insensitive to the sufferings of the poor people. There is always an argument within Christianity as to who should take care of the poor, whether the government, or the church. In reality, both of them have the moral responsibility to take care of the less fortunate and those that are suffering. We cannot place the responsibility only on the shoulders of the church when the government favors predatory capitalism that continues to rob church members of their money. Instead of feeding the poor like Jesus instructed, we supported the demonic and oppressive machine fighting against anything to help the poor. We call this conservatism! The word "conservatism" today means, "forget about Jesus." That’s the operational definition in politics. What are we trying to conserve, the pockets of thieves? God help us with our cognitive blindness! According to Jesus, this is a pathway straight to hell! What is the value of your political position when it is contrary to the gospel messages of Christ? I feel sorry for those Christians who will eventually receive death sentence from Jesus because of their political hypocrisy!

Think about what Jesus preached:

"Not all who call me Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of my father in Heaven" (St. Matthew 7:21).

"And I will declare to them, I never knew you. Depart from me you workers of iniquity" (St. Matthew 7:23).

"And the king will say to them, assuredly I say to you, in as much as you have done it to one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it to me. Then, he will say to those on the left hand, depart from me, you cursed into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels" (St. Matthew 25:40-41).

Who Should Take Care of the Poor?

Some Christians are fooling themselves thinking as long as they carry the image of a fetus on their heads, while running down the streets, they will go to Heaven. They have been deceived! Jesus supports the right to life, but he does not believe in empty rhetoric. He blasted the Pharisees because of the same lies they were telling people because of their self-righteousness leading then straight to hell. Jesus is concerned about what you do after rescuing the fetus. You do not receive any praise from Jesus but damnation if you allow the rescued fetus to be run over by the wicked truck of hunger, despair, disease, or poverty. If you do, you will receive greater damnation! Amen!

The next question is, who should take care of the poor? The answer is both the church and the government should! How can the government sit around, supported by Christians through political ideology to commit the greatest highway robbery in the world? They allowed the looting of Wall Street causing so many people to lose their money. We also allow shady business deals using tricks to take houses from people, especially the senior citizens. We also allow shady business dealings where a man can borrow $2,500 and ended up paying back $30,000. If this is not demonic greed, I do not know what is! There is something called "greed," there is another called "satanic greed." Satanic greed is evil!

If we allow shady businesses to rob people, and we call it capitalism, where will the church have enough money to take care of the poor, when the members are being robbed on both fronts?

Christians are Blinded by Empty Political Rhetoric

We embrace empty and substance-less political rhetoric while we are blind-sided to fairness and justice. Jesus specifically talked about this issue regarding the Pharisees.

Jesus said:

"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourself" (St. Matthew 23:15).

"Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cumin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law regarding; justice, mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone" (St. Matthew 23:23).

What is the purpose of rescuing a baby from the abortion clinic and leaving the baby to die of hunger on the side of the road? What is the purpose of campaigning for the right to life when we support the political policy of economic genocide causing an average worker to suffer? I was listening to James Robison interview the former Gov. Huckabee in May 2012 on his program Life Today. Huckabee alluded to the fact that if a Christian voted his wallet, he is not voting as a Christian. He indicated that Christians should vote for policies that help the nation and majority of the people. He stressed that a political party should not be telling Christians what to do. Christians should be telling the political party what to do. Former Gov. Huckabee was right! But, how can we speak to a political party, when we Christians have lost grounds? While we are busy embracing empty political rhetoric, we left our doors open. The thief came and robbed the house of God including stealing the minds of our children. While we are busy fighting for where to place the flag or the cross, our gospel message started to fall on deaf ears. We now entertain demons inside the church so much, sexual perversions have arrived in the church. They claimed they have the right to pollute the minds of your children. We Christians remain helpless!

Christians and Politics

In the year 2012, for the first time in the history of this nation, Christians do not have a presidential candidate supporting the traditional well-established Judeo-Christian beliefs. Which is the lesser of the two evils? We either embrace the worship of idols where each person will one day become a god and rule over his or our own planet. Then ignore God the Creator because he used to be just like a human being like us. We can also accept the blasphemy that Jesus is the brother of Satan. Or, we can support another choice that has embraced an alternative family lifestyle, which is contrary to the gospel messages of Christ.

What went wrong? I believe God orchestrated the present political crisis within the so-called political conservatives this election year. This crisis will reveal the hypocrisy of the Right Wing who pretends to be Christians. If you study very well the social and public policies of the Right Wing, they are anti-Christian from practical applications. They refused to honor Jesus’ request to help the poor. Their political agenda is to give more money to the rich so the rest of the working class remained at their mercy as indentured slaves. Such economic policy failed in the past called trickle-down economics. When the rich people have money, many of them do not necessarily create jobs. They take their money to Swiss Bank, and some of them ended up in Las Vegas Casinos and Stripper clubs!

I will admit, we are all sinners before God. We should not persecute people because of their lifestyles even if such is contrary to our Christians faith. We should not justify sin because it feels good and is popular. Such perversion should not be allowed to infect our children in school. This is another form of child abuse. Just because man has gone mad with hedonistic desires is not the reason for Christians to embrace immoral lifestyles. At least you can preach to a person who is in sin because Jesus loves repented sinners. Jesus did not walk away from sinners, even prostitutes. Can you help a person whose religion blasphemes God of the Bible? You have to make your own choice.

Here are the key issues to be of great concerns to Christians. Abortion issue is a "dress me looking good" issue. Most of us Christians who are against abortion cannot stop a person who wants to commit abortion. We can preach to them. We can weep before them not to take the life of the unborn. But, we cannot stop them. That’s the fact! Let’s be very honest with ourselves. God is not going to send you to hell because a person committed abortion down the street from you. We have over-politicized the issue of abortion, not because it is not important, but we have turned it to a weapon of choice even within a political party. Okay, a candidate made a mistake, and made the wrong statement. The alarming uproar is a banner waving strategy to win political votes and have nothing to do with the gospel messages of Christ. Even when Peter spoke the wrong thing, Jesus corrected and forgave him. Did Jesus ask Peter to resign from being the head of the disciples? Instead, Jesus came back and restored Peter. The reality of using abortion issue to hit somebody upside the head has nothing to do with Christianity. It is an issue used as a political weapon that may now be poisoning and dividing a political party.

The real issue is whether a political candidate has compassion for the less fortunate; those that are suffering; the fatherless; the widows; those that are being cheated by the Wall Street, and Real Estate scan artists; and the Credit Card scam artists. If we choose to ignore the "least of these my brethren," according to Jesus, we have lost Christianity on the altar of political gains. I pray to God Almighty that those who vote to continue ripping-off the working class will one day face the crushing blows of the hammer of God’s justice! Amen! "Depart from me you workers on iniquity. I never knew you" that’s what Jesus would say on the Day of Judgment. As a Christian, make your choice carefully.

Sadly, this year 2012, we Christians have lost our public position and political power because we have believed in lies told to us by those using us for their political gains. We chose to walk away from Jesus to support empty political rhetoric. We left the door of the church open, and thief came and robbed the church blind. We sacrifice Jesus on the altar of our selfish political agenda. In 2010, I released a book, Closer Walk With Jesus. In chapters 37 and 38, I discussed "The Prophecy of the Coming Catastrophe," and "Divine Messages for the United States" respectively. Those who failed to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
